Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in security research and/or engineering.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is appreciated but not required.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Lead scientific research projects focused on improving the security of critical infrastructure against cyber threats, exploring areas such as network security, IoT security, AI agents, security automation, vulnerability discovery, and human factors.
- Collaborate with industrial and governmental partners to transition research findings into functional prototypes and technology demonstrators in fields like satellite systems, vehicular networks, and smart cities.
- Contribute to the teaching activities of the University’s Cybersecurity Master program and supervise the scientific research of PhD and Master students.
- Present research results at scientific conferences, in journals, and at technology events.
