Job Description
The primary focus of this postdoc position will be on developing and utilizing multiple in-situ spectroscopic techniques, including but not limited to surface-enhanced IR and Raman spectroscopy, to study the reaction intermediates in electrocatalysts with 3D active sites across various reactions, such as oxygen reduction, oxygen evolution, and CO2 reduction.
Responsibilities
- Investigate electrocatalytic reaction pathways and scaling relationships.
- Design, construct, and operate in-situ spectroscopic setups.
- Synthesize, characterize, and evaluate nanostructured electrocatalysts.
- Engage in collaborative research and scientific dissemination.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrocatalytic mechanisms and reaction pathways.
- Spectroscopy and instrumentation with practical experience.
- Catalyst development including synthesis and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
