Research Area

This ambitious project focuses on measurement-based quantum computing using continuous-variable cluster states with a three-dimensional entanglement structure.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in experimental quantum optics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience in areas such as quantum information processing or continuous variable quantum information processing is preferred.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research on the generation and manipulation of three-dimensional entangled cluster states for quantum computing.
  • Developing new quantum computing protocols using hybrid detection technologies.
  • Exploring the potential of 3D cluster states for enabling fault-tolerant quantum computing.
  • Publishing research results in high-quality scientific journals and presenting findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Collaborating with researchers from other institutions within the European CLUSTEC program.
