This ambitious project focuses on measurement-based quantum computing using continuous-variable cluster states with a three-dimensional entanglement structure.
Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in experimental quantum optics.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience in areas such as quantum information processing or continuous variable quantum information processing is preferred.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research on the generation and manipulation of three-dimensional entangled cluster states for quantum computing.
- Developing new quantum computing protocols using hybrid detection technologies.
- Exploring the potential of 3D cluster states for enabling fault-tolerant quantum computing.
- Publishing research results in high-quality scientific journals and presenting findings at conferences and workshops.
- Collaborating with researchers from other institutions within the European CLUSTEC program.
