Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Holds a PhD degree (or has completed the draft of the PhD thesis) in organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong skills in synthetic chemistry, kinetics, and spectroscopy.
  • Proven experience in air-sensitive synthesis and catalytic testing.
  • Fluent in English with strong scientific presentation and writing skills.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a team environment and collaborating with computational researchers.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the synthesis and characterization of molecular pre-catalysts.
  • Design and perform high-pressure catalytic experiments.
  • Use state-of-the-art operando spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR) to track catalyst transformation and deactivation.
  • Collaborate closely with computational researchers to develop durable catalysts through iterative experiment-theory integration.
