Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in atmospheric physics, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field with relevant specialization.
- Experience in operating advanced instrumentation for particle characterization.
- Proficiency in data interpretation using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with back trajectory analysis using different techniques.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary international academic environment.
Job Description:
Postdoc in Aerosol-Cloud-Climate Interactions (Experimental Techniques)
- The postdoc position is part of the CleanCloud project, focusing on aerosol properties and Aerosol-Cloud Interaction (ACI).
- Research will include a field campaign at Villum Research Station, Station Nord in Northeast Greenland, where ACI properties will be studied using complex in-situ instrumentation.
- Investigation of the vertical profiles of aerosol properties.
- Collaboration with an international team of scientists working on climate modeling and fieldwork.
