Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in natural products discovery, biotechnology, bioengineering, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with natural product chemistry and Streptomyces
- Strong background in natural product chemistry with NMR and MS spectroscopy expertise
- Proficiency in natural product purification using chromatography techniques
- Experience in microbial fermentation, pharmacology, and antifungal assay
- Advantageous skills in genome-mining, Streptomyces engineering, and antibiotic development
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Innovative mindset and a track record of scientific achievements
Job Description: As a Postdoc, your responsibilities include:
- Optimization of antifungal polyketide production in Streptomyces
- Scale-up fermentation and isolation of antifungal leads
- Support in biosynthesis and pharmacokinetics studies
- Assistance in animal assay
- Collaboration with an interdisciplinary research team
- Contributions to innovation and drug development
