Eligibility/Qualification
- Required:
- Doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree in thermal and/or fluid energy engineering.
- Documented experience in industrial thermal energy engineering (e.g., thermal energy storage, thermal machinery, heat pumps, or solar thermal energy).
- Preferred:
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
- Previous experimental work with thermal technologies.
- Experience with numerical and experimental methods related to boundary layer flows, heat transfer, and additive manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and processing with Python or similar, preferably including machine learning tools.
- Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, particularly gender equality.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work independently.
Job Description
The candidate will lead activities in the development of TES technology through:
- Numerical analyses and material characterization
- Laboratory testing and data analysis for validation and upscaling
- System-level investigations for commercialization, with a focus on techno-economic analysis and AI-driven optimization
- Participation in project management and supervision of graduate students
- Collaboration with both national and international industrial and academic partners
