Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in physics, quantum information science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in experimental quantum optics
  • Strong theoretical understanding of quantum information
  • Experience in designing and characterizing photonic integrated circuits
  • Proficiency in programming and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Job Description:

  • Realize a sub-universal continuous variable quantum computing platform by creating a large temporally encoded cluster state on-chip using squeezed light.
  • Induce transformations on the resource state through homodyne measurements.
  • Demonstrate sub-universal quantum sampling algorithms towards achieving quantum advantage.
  • Develop, operate, and maintain an experimental setup for photonic quantum computing.
  • Acquire, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication and present research findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Collaborate with researchers from other institutions to advance project goals.
