Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD or equivalent in molecular biology or related fields.
  • Experience in molecular biology methods, particularly related to RNA.

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, including transfections and cell line generation.
  • Knowledge of flow cytometry and high-throughput screening is desirable but not required.
  • Interest in RNA degradation, nanopore sequencing, and computational biology.
  • Excellent English skills, including scientific writing and conference presentations.
  • One or more first-authored papers in respected journals.
  • Desire to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment.

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will engage in research aimed at deciphering and validating RNA degradation mechanisms using state-of-the-art nanopore sequencing and CRISPR gene editing techniques. The role involves close collaboration with computational biology experts and may include limited teaching responsibilities.
