Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields.
- Background in at least two of the following areas:
- Computer vision for object detection and/or semantic segmentation
- Anomaly Detection
- Efficient multi-modal perception
- Foundation models for robotics
- Robotics simulation and synthetic data generation
- Robot manipulation
- Deep learning-based planning
- Experience in a biology or chemistry laboratory environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for oral and written presentations in scientific contexts.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Conduct high-quality research in alignment with the goals of the Closed-Loop setup project.
- Collaborate with engineering lab personnel and life scientists to enhance laboratory automation.
- Contribute to the development of advanced robotics and data technologies that facilitate an interconnected laboratory environment.
- Lead efforts in ensuring the integration of robotic and automation equipment and provide innovative input for laboratory automation design.
- Supervise Ph.D. and master’s students, and engage in educational activities to support the program’s academic objectives.
