Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields.
  • Background in at least two of the following areas:
  • Computer vision for object detection and/or semantic segmentation
  • Anomaly Detection
  • Efficient multi-modal perception
  • Foundation models for robotics
  • Robotics simulation and synthetic data generation
  • Robot manipulation
  • Deep learning-based planning
  • Experience in a biology or chemistry laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for oral and written presentations in scientific contexts.

Job Description

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:

  • Conduct high-quality research in alignment with the goals of the Closed-Loop setup project.
  • Collaborate with engineering lab personnel and life scientists to enhance laboratory automation.
  • Contribute to the development of advanced robotics and data technologies that facilitate an interconnected laboratory environment.
  • Lead efforts in ensuring the integration of robotic and automation equipment and provide innovative input for laboratory automation design.
  • Supervise Ph.D. and master’s students, and engage in educational activities to support the program’s academic objectives.
