Eligibility/Qualification
Required Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree (must be obtained by time of employment decision).
- Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
- Personal qualities that demonstrate strong collaboration abilities.
- Proven capability to independently complete projects.
- Experience with quantum chemical calculations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years before application.
- Experience in Python programming.
- Experience with molecular dynamics simulations.
- Awareness of diversity and gender equality issues.
Job Description
The project focuses on studying the properties of organic materials for metal-free flow batteries using computational methods. Responsibilities include:
- Developing workflows for automatic generation of redox chemistry properties, diffusion properties, aggregation, and more.
- Investigating potential degradation pathways of materials.
- Collaborating closely with experimental groups and utilizing the new quantum chemistry software VeloxChem alongside other molecular dynamics codes.
