Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in neuroscience, neuroengineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in preclinical neuroscience using implanted interfaces.
- Expertise in electrophysiology techniques (e.g., in vivo recordings, EMG recordings).
- Familiarity with optogenetics and histological methods (preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English (C1 level); French is a plus.
Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the optimization, application, and verification of an optoelectronic implant for bladder dysfunction in rodent models.
- Collect and analyze electrophysiological and behavioral data.
- Conduct histological evaluations following chronic implantation.
- Work independently and collaboratively to plan and execute experiments.
- Maintain knowledge of published developments in the research field.
- Organize and document experimental methods and outcomes accurately.
- Communicate research updates through presentations and contribute to publications and patents.
