Postdoc of Biophysics/Biocomplexity/Universal Biology: The Niels Bohr Institute Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a talented and highly motivated scientist to join the research project “Universal Biology” led by Professor Kunihiko Kaneko and financed by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. This postdoctoral position offers an excellent opportunity to explore questions at the interface between physics and biology, aimed at uncovering universal characteristics and general laws in life systems.

Eligibility/Qualification: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in theoretical physics with a focus on statistical physics and dynamical systems. Previous knowledge of biology is not necessary, although a high motivation and passion to understand life systems with a willingness to learn is essential.
Job Description: The postdoc will conduct research within Biocomplexity and may also be involved in teaching activities. The role will primarily focus on theoretical work, including simulations and the potential for collaboration with experimental groups. Additionally, the postdoc may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
