Eligibility / Qualification
- Education: Ph.D. in Natural Sciences, preferably with a strong specialization in peptide characterization using NMR spectroscopy.
- Core Technical Qualifications:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in working with peptides/proteins, acquiring NMR spectra, and conducting structure elucidation.
- In-depth expertise in peptide sequencing by NMR spectroscopy is essential.
- Additional / Desirable Expertise:
- Knowledge of NMR spectroscopy of oligonucleotides is a plus.
- General knowledge in analytical chemistry with a focus on Mass Spectrometry is an advantage.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong team-oriented mindset combined with an independent working style.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
Job Description
- Implement appropriate NMR spectroscopy experiments for the characterization of new therapeutic modalities (peptides, antibodies, oligonucleotides).
- Prepare, measure, and evaluate peptide samples using NMR spectroscopy as a core responsibility.
- Conduct structure confirmation of peptide sequences and investigate the stability of pharmaceutical formulations.
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues in the NMR spectroscopy laboratory, Mass Spectrometry specialists, and interdisciplinary project members across Development Departments.
- Foster innovative and agile thinking in solving complex structural analysis questions, while providing scientific leadership and support to colleagues.
