Job Description

The successful candidate will be involved in the FIS-funded POLARIS project and will:

  • Investigate the regulatory principles of poly(A) tails in the control of mRNA metabolism.
  • Employ advanced technologies including third-generation sequencing, stem cell culture, and organoid models.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team, including ongoing training and mentorship opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

  • PhD in a life science discipline by the time of application or job start.
  • Knowledge and experience in RNA biology.
  • Solid foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology, or systems biology.
  • Experience with RNA sequencing techniques and mammalian cell culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic skills in R or Python programming.
  • Experience with imaging techniques, protein purification, and in vitro assays.
