Job Description: The successful candidate will be involved in the following activities:
- Improving the genetic transformation method in duckweeds to transform them into efficient and environmentally friendly biofactories.
- Introducing biosynthetic pathways, such as the one for a diabetes drug, into the duckweed expression system as a proof-of-concept.
- Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the publication of research findings.
- Collaborating with the Plant Evolutionary Ecology group and other relevant research teams.
