Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, protein chemistry, or a related discipline

- Additional experience in virus structure or protein structure determination is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international research setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and excellent record keeping
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and willingness to learn new methods
- Problem-solving skills
Job Description:
- Solve and analyze structures of adenovirus particles or proteins, both independently and in complex with host factors
- Design protein modifications to optimize virus-host interactions for efficient gene delivery
- Utilize computational biology techniques, focusing on protein design and protein-protein interaction modeling and simulations
- Work as part of a team in an international collaborative research environment
- Maintain accurate records of research activities
- Communicate research findings effectively through written and oral presentations
- Contribute to the overall goals of the project and collaborate with PIs and team members
