Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, kinesiology, or related biomedical science field
  • Experience in manuscript preparation and submission
  • Desirable experience in virtual reality, Matlab, EEGLAB, EEG, and motion analysis

Job Description:

  • Conduct research using high-density EEG to monitor brain activity in older adults during a navigation task in virtual reality
  • Work on a currently funded NIH project focusing on identifying neural correlates of cognitive-motor impairments in aging
  • Analyze electrocortical dynamics related to changes in navigation performance
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in cutting-edge research in cognitive neuroscience
