Postdoc Position: Electrocatalysts: The University of Santiago de Compostela’s CIQUS – Center for Research in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials is seeking a dedicated and innovative postdoctoral researcher to join the FunNanoMatLab Group. This position focuses on the synthesis and testing of new electrocatalyst materials for sustainable energy applications, including H2 production, fuel cells, and metal-air batteries.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related area
- Previous experience in the development of electrocatalyst materials
- Experience in electrochemistry techniques (e.g., CV, EIS, LSV)
- Strong background in electrocatalysis testing with an excellent scientific record
- International postdoctoral experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English
- Creativity and team-working ability in a dynamic and international environment
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Job Description:
- Synthesize and test new electrocatalyst materials for applications in hydrogen production, fuel cells, and metal-air batteries
- Conduct research within the FunNanoMatLab Group at CiQUS
- Collaborate in a dynamic and international team
- Publish and present research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
