Postdoc Position in Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships (QSARs)
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships (QSARs)
Location: Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree (or equivalent) within computational toxicology (QSAR), toxicology, pharmacy, chemistry, biology or another relevant scientific area
- Strong interest in QSAR research
- Strong professional writing and presentation skills in English
- A systematic approach to work tasks and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
- Good ability to generate new ideas and bring them to life
- Skills for database handling and IT on a user level
Job Description: The successful applicant will become part of the Research group for chemical risk assessment and GMO at the DTU National Food Institute. Responsibilities include:
- Development of QSAR models
- Preparation of scientific articles
- Presentations at meetings and conferences
- Contributing to advisory work for regulatory use of QSAR predictions
- Engagement in various EU and national research projects

Salary and Terms of Employment: The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The workplace will be at the DTU Food premises in DK-2800 Kgs. Lyngby. The period of employment is 12 months, starting preferably on 1st October, or if possible, 1st September 2024.
