Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Material Sciences, Material Chemistry, Inorganic Materials, or a relevant field.
- Strong expertise in experimental work related to new material development and characterization.
- Documented experience in scientific writing and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Research experience in CO2 mineralization and calcium carbonate-based material systems is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, and goal-oriented personality.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Job Description
The successful applicant will engage in innovative research aimed at developing effective strategies for upcycling alkaline solid wastes, such as demolished concrete and municipal solid waste incineration ashes. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting autonomous research as directed by the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Co-supervising and guiding MSc and PhD students in their research projects.
- Expanding the research portfolio and contributing to publications in high-impact journals.
- Representing the research team at international conferences and possible teaching activities.
