Educational BackgroundCompleted excellent scientific university degree (Master/Dipl.) in mathematics
PhDExcellent PhD in mathematics
Knowledge and Skills– Spectral theory of unbounded operators in Hilbert spaces
– Perturbation theory and self-adjoint operators
– Linear relations (theory of multi-valued operators)
Language ProficiencyStrong proficiency in spoken and written English (Level B2)
Desired CompetencesStrong background in mathematics; interest in collaboration with researchers from control engineering, computer science, and robotics

Job Description

The PostDoc will be responsible for:

  • Conducting independent and collaborative research with members of the Applied Functional Analysis Group, aiming for significant publications.
  • Teaching exercise classes (3 hours per week).
  • Administering examinations.
