Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistical genetics, or related field.
- Demonstrable experience in bioinformatics data analysis and handling large datasets.
- Proven experience in genetic data analysis (GWAS, WES, WGS).
- Strong programming skills with experience in Python, R, and UNIX.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Job Description
As a Postdoc in the Complex Trait Genetics lab, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing novel bioinformatic methods to integrate results from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) with biological information at single-cell resolution.
- Applying tools to data related to brain traits.
- Co-supervising MSc and PhD students.
- Authoring and co-authoring manuscripts for high-quality journals.
- Presenting research at consortium meetings and international conferences.
- Providing some support (10% of time) for teaching activities.
