Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related fields.
- A strong publishing record, with at least three articles above the field median in the last five years, including two in Q1 journals as a first or corresponding author.
- Practical experience and theoretical knowledge of molecular biology methods and/or bioinformatics/statistics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English at level C1.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Work on the “National Institute for Metabolic and Cardiovascular Research” project (NPO LX22NPO5104).
- Study the genetic background of familial hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemias, with a focus on polygenic risk scores and molecular diagnostics.
- Contribute to understanding the molecular basis of hypercholesterolemia and its implications in personalized medicine.
