Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- PhD must have been completed no longer than three years prior to the application closing date.
- Demonstrated expertise in fault-tolerant distributed system design.
- Experience in federated learning using TensorFlow and Flower.
- Knowledge of Cloud-Native Edge Computing, Kubernetes, and microservices.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will:
- Conduct research and develop solutions for future resilient networks and services.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities and implement protection mechanisms against threats in heterogeneous Cloud/Fog/Mist/Edge environments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team and partake in research projects.
- Publish findings in international journals and conferences.
- Engage with industry partners and contribute to the educational environment, with potential teaching responsibilities (up to 20% of working hours).
