Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree in Power Electronics or related fields
- Experience in design, development, and control of power converters
- Experience in hardware design and measurements
- Familiarity with DSP and/or FPGA applications in power electronics
- Publication record in high-impact conferences and journals
- Strong communication skills and team player mentality
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Participation in national and/or European research projects is a plus
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct research focusing on power electronics related to electrolyzer applications.
- Explore various power converter topologies suited for electrolyzers.
- Utilize advanced tools for power electronic system optimization.
- Engage in hardware design achieve high power density, considering all related subsystems (gate driver, cooling, power semiconductors, capacitors, load).
- Apply simulation and design tools, build demonstrators, and verify simulations through experimental measurements.
- Research power electronic setups aimed at optimizing fuel production from electrical sources.
- Plan, execute, and document projects with industrial partners.
- Supervise PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s students conducting related research.
- Publish and present research at international conferences and in high-impact journals.
- Assist in teaching activities.
