Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Excellent publication record in top-ranked journals or conferences in data mining, machine learning, solid-state physics, or related areas.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Advanced experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning
  • Solid State Physics, specifically ARPES
  • Data Management and Analysis
  • Bayesian Optimization methods

Job Description

  • Conduct scientific research at the interface between computer science and physics.
  • Publish in premier international conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with scientists from both Computer Science and Physics departments.
