Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in chemistry (or soon to be completed)
- Strong academic background with excellent grades and graduation with honors
- Experience in synthetic organic laboratory work, including microscale techniques and spectroscopic analysis
- Proficiency in designing and planning complex synthetic sequences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German language proficiency is a plus)
- International mobility and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will design, synthesize, and characterize open-shell molecular fragments of graphene, focusing on investigating their properties and π-radical reactivity to develop novel graphene-based materials. Your responsibilities include conducting synthetic experiments, analyzing data, writing manuscripts and proposals, and presenting findings. You will work in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art scientific infrastructure, attending conferences and networking opportunities.
