Job Description:
This project aims to develop self-assembling peptide (SAP) biomaterials with properties that will enhance tissue adhesion, control degradation, and modulate immune responses for effective tendon regeneration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and characterize new injectable SAP biomaterials
- Investigate and evaluate macrophage polarization and immune signaling via functional assays and omics analyses
- Analyze enzymatic degradation pathways of peptides and their biological roles
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques for peptide-macrophage interactions
- Supervise B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. projects and contribute to teaching
