Scholarship Description:
The Canté-Pastor lab, opening in October 2024, seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to join their team. This position is flexible in scope but centers on using cutting-edge tools to study tissue-specific immune responses and their effects on plant-microbe interactions in Arabidopsis and tomato. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend workshops or courses to enhance their skills, mentor students, and participate in writing manuscripts and grants.
Eligibility:
Applicants must hold a PhD in plant sciences, molecular biology, omics, or related fields. Essential skills include expertise in plant sciences, molecular biology, microscopy, and/or bioinformatics. A passion for innovation and understanding plant-microbe interactions is crucial. Experience in plant pathology and/or single-cell transcriptomics is a plus.
