Postdoc Position in Redox Biology, Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands

Postdoc Position in Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam - Netherlands

Postdoc Position in Redox Biology: A postdoc position in Receptor Redox Biology is available in the laboratory of Dr. Elwira Smakowska-Luzan at the Laboratory of Biochemistry, Wageningen University & Research.

Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher

Research Area:

In the research group, we focus on understanding the largely unexplored mechanisms of signal perception in plants. Plants, as sessile organisms, must precisely respond to changes in their environment. Many of these responses, as well as processes related to growth and development, involve the production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). We investigate how ROS, through oxidative modifications, control the stability, activity, and protein interactions of Cysteine-Rich Receptor Like-Kinases (CRKs). Join our group in exploring this and other intriguing research questions.
