Postdoc Position Ion Channel: The Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences is seeking applications for a PhD Student or Postdoc Position in the research area of Ion Channel Simulations within the Computational Biomolecular Dynamics research group.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD Students: Master’s or equivalent degree in computational molecular physics, structural biology, or related field.
  • Postdocs: PhD or equivalent degree in computational molecular physics, structural biology, or related fields.

Job Description:
Successful candidates will demonstrate keen interest and strong skills in computational molecular physics, structural biology, and scientific computing. They will collaborate with experimental groups and engage in interdisciplinary research. PhD students will participate in available PhD programs with three years of funding in collaboration with the University of Göttingen. Postdoc positions are limited to two years with the possibility of extension. English language proficiency is required, and German language skills are a plus.
