Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD Degree: In semiconductor physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Affinity for machine learning
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in a collaborative, internationally oriented environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.

Job Description

In this two-year postdoc position, you will work on developing efficient machine-learning procedures applicable to Dopant Network Processing Units (DNPUs) combined with photonic and analogue electronic hardware. The project aims to explore larger multi-DNPU networks and investigate the training performance of various conventional gradient descent methods in simulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research at the interface of machine learning and device physics.
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for DNPUs.
  • Collaborate with a team of researchers and contribute to publications.
