Postdoc position on Social Dynamics: Utrecht University’s department of Social, Health, and Organisational Psychology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the F-AI-MILY project. This project, funded by an ERC Starting Grant, focuses on understanding and embracing the impact of artificial agents on the social dynamics of families. The selected candidate will lead the first research stream of the project, employing a neurocognition-at-home approach to investigate various aspects of social dynamics within families living with artificial agents. The project encompasses interdisciplinary research involving family psychology, social neuroscience, and artificial intelligence.

Location: Utrecht University, Netherlands
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in the field of social psychology, experimental psychology, cognitive, affective or social neuroscience, or an equivalent program.
- Advanced statistical expertise, including experience in implementing linear mixed effects, along with strong coding skills in Python and/or R.
- Interest and motivation to engage in interdisciplinary research.
- Experience with neuroimaging methods, especially fNIRS, is preferred.
- Commitment to open science practices in research (e.g., preregistration, data sharing, pre-prints).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Dutch proficiency is not compulsory but recommended, and a commitment to learning Dutch (up to B2 level) is advisable.

- Teaching responsibilities, including thesis supervision and seminars.
