Postdoc Position – Quantitative Biology, University of Basel, Switzerland

PhD Fellowship IN Switzerland

Postdoc Position – Quantitative Biology: The University of Basel’s Biozentrum invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the research group of Prof. Erik van Nimwegen. The position, initially for two years, focuses on studying Escherichia coli during stationary phase as a case study of non-growing bacteria. The project involves using quantitative approaches, including novel techniques for tracking growth and gene expression at the single-cell level. The successful candidate will employ experimental techniques, data analysis, and modeling to explore physiological and evolutionary aspects of stationary phase.
