Research Area:
The project focuses on developing reversible reduction of highly concentrated bicarbonate/formate solutions for long-duration storage in redox flow batteries.
Location:
University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Nanoscience/Technology.
- Experience in electrochemical engineering and/or reactor/process design and evaluation.
- Fluent in English and capable of collaborative communication.
Job Description:
The PostDoc position will involve:
- Developing stack systems for the reduction of bicarbonate/formate solutions.
- Benchmarking against known vanadium redox couples.
- Creating and assessing a trickle bed reactor that includes a “booster” for redox chemistry.
- Collaborating with internal and external parties in regular meetings and research activities.
