Postdoc Positions at Charles University: The School of Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, invites applications for several postdoc positions in theoretical computer science and discrete mathematics. The positions are hosted at the Computer Science Institute, Department of Applied Mathematics, and Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic. Candidates with a strong background in computer science and/or mathematics who will complete their Ph.D. degree by summer 2024 are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area obtained in the year 2017 or later and before the starting date.
- Strong publication record in impact journals and/or high-quality selective conference proceedings in the relevant area.
Job Description: The postdoc positions are funded by various projects led by principal investigators and mentors in different research areas, including structural and algorithmic graph theory, combinatorics, computational topology, evolutionary graph theory, streaming and online algorithms, computational complexity, automated planning, and algorithmic game theory.
The typical postdoc salary is 60,000 CZK/month, and the national health insurance scheme covers postdocs. Informal inquiries are welcome and can be sent to the principal investigators or possible mentors listed in the job description.
