Postdoc Positions in Genomics and Bioinformatics: Join DANDRITE Nordic-EMBL at Aarhus University, Denmark, as a Postdoc in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics – Neurobiology. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold a PhD in molecular biology or a related field.
  • Required experience in genomics experiments and/or bioinformatics analysis.
  • Desirable skills include experience with single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, HiC, or DamID, bioinformatics analysis of short reads, and publication experience.
  • Advantageous experience in neurobiology, mouse genetics, and machine learning.

Job Description:

  • Engage in the project on the epigenetic and transcriptional basis of neuroplasticity under the mentorship of Group Leader, Dr. Taro Kitazawa.
  • Utilize cutting-edge genomics technologies and contribute to developing novel approaches.
  • Perform bioinformatics analyses in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team working on in vivo mouse circuits, electrophysiology, and behavior.
  • Opportunities for developing skills in grant writing, networking, and scientific communication.
  • Present research findings at international conferences and participate in lab management and departmental activities.
