Postdoc Researcher – ALD: The Salomé Research Group at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Braga, Portugal, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in Selective Area Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). Eligibility/Qualifications:

Education:

  • PhD in Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in cleanroom or laboratory settings.
  • Knowledge of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes.
  • Proficiency in thin-film characterization techniques.
  • Understanding of chemical surface modification processes.
  • Competence in documenting and reporting experimental work.

Personal Skills:

  • High commitment to meeting deadlines with a hands-on approach.
  • Problem-solving skills and customer orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Effective communication skills.

Job Description:

  • Conduct hands-on research in a cleanroom environment.
  • Develop and test innovative deposition processes and tools.
  • Grow and characterize thin films using advanced techniques.
  • Operate ALD tools for area-selective deposition.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and findings.
