Job Description:
Temperature sensing underpins various industries, from industrial process control to biomedical applications. This project addresses the challenge of frequent recalibration of conventional temperature sensors. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will join the PhoQuS-T consortium, focusing on the design, fabrication, and testing of innovative optomechanical devices. Your role includes:
- Developing self-calibration techniques.
- Optimizing mechanical resonators for enhanced performance.
- Implementing advanced optical readout schemes.
- Collaborating with academic and industrial partners for prototype demonstrations and scientific publications.
You will be part of the Dynamics of Micro and Nanosystems (DMN) section at TU Delft and gain access to state-of-the-art nanofabrication facilities and optical measurement labs.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates should submit their applications online no later than 16 March 2025. The application must include the following documents:
- CV
- Cover letter describing motivation and qualifications for this position (max 2 pages)
- Names and contact details of three references
- Abstract of your MSc/PhD thesis
