Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in condensed matter physics, electrical engineering, quantum engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in experimental research, preferably in low-temperature condensed matter physics or quantum physics
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Proven ability to conduct independent and collaborative research
- Teaching experience and supervision of students is an asset
Job Description
The primary responsibility will be to coordinate a research project in collaboration with spin qubit researchers at imec, focusing on coherent light-matter interactions in circuit quantum electrodynamics (circuit QED). Other duties include:
- Planning and conducting world-leading research on superconducting and quantum devices
- Publishing findings and presenting research at seminars and conferences
- Collaborating with other researchers and students
- Contributing to teaching a Master’s-level course on superconductivity
