Postdocs in Networked Systems: The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology invites applications for post-doctoral positions within the ERC Consolidator Project titled “ULTRA,” led by Prof. Dejan Kostic. The project focuses on revolutionizing the construction of Internet Services, with a special emphasis on low latency, resilient frameworks for machine learning. As a member of the research lab, you will contribute to experimental systems work, collaborate with faculty members and doctoral students, and contribute to scientific publications and grant applications.

Location: School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree (required at the time of employment decision)
  • Solid background in distributed systems, networking, programming, and operating systems
  • Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing
  • Very good skills in critical thinking and very good knowledge of C++, UNIX, and any scripting language
  • Highly motivated candidate with a willingness to experiment and explore
  • International publications in journals and top conferences
  • Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years, teaching abilities, awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, and strong collaboration skills
