Job Description
The successful candidate will work at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, focusing on developing and applying modeling tools for assessing the hazardousness of chemicals in various water sources (drinking water, surface water, and wastewater effluents). The position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and aims to result in a digital tool for risk assessment of chemicals.
Duties
- Develop and apply modeling tools to assess chemical risks in water.
- Collaborate with experts in risk assessment, environmental chemistry, and statistics.
- Interpret complex data to support water management practices.
- Work within a consortium of collaborators from various institutions.
