Postdoctoral and Ph.D. Positions: The Mossakowski Medical Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences is looking for a postdoctoral researcher and a Ph.D. student to join our group led by Dr. Dawid Walerych in studying the interplay mechanism of oncogenic genes in human cancers.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related sciences is required for the postdoctoral position.
- A Master’s degree in a related field with exceptional academic performance and potential is required for the Ph.D. position.
- Knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Western Blot, and cell culture methods is required.
- Experience in writing and presenting scientific papers in English is required.
- Availability to work in Warsaw, Poland for the next several years is preferred.

Oncogana Competition – New Interplay Mechanism of Mutant 553 with CMYC and Mutant KRAS in Human Cancers
The successful candidate will join our ongoing project investigating the “oncogene competition” phenomenon and its impact on the reshaping of molecular programs in normal and cancer cells, cancer organoids, and in vivo validation.
Salary:
- Postdoctoral position: PLN 1600 gross/month for one year.
- Ph.D. stipend: PLN 5000 gross/month for one year.
