Postdoctoral and PhD Positions in Neurobiology: The Boto lab is currently recruiting for Postdoc and PhD positions on a Wellcome Trust-funded project focusing on the interaction of sensory perception and memory in Drosophila. The lab investigates neural circuits modulating memory using molecular, imaging, and behavioral approaches.

Location: Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland

Eligibility/Qualification: Postdoc Position:

  • Ph.D. in Biological or Brain Sciences.
  • Experience in Drosophila neurobiology, behavior, and/or confocal/multi-photon microscopy.

PhD Student Position:

  • Degree in Biology or Neuroscience.
  • Previous experience in molecular biology, neurobiology, or genetics.
  • Master’s degree in a related field will be desirable.

Job Description:

Postdoctoral and PhD Positions in Drosophila Neurobiology

  • Study the interaction of sensory perception and memory in Drosophila.
  • Utilize molecular, imaging, and behavioral approaches.
  • Investigate how dopaminergic neurons modulate brain activity and behavior.
