- Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or closely related field (must be conferred within five years prior to employment)
- Experience with aerosol/droplet generation or handling of biological materials
- Proven track record of publication of results in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific/technical conferences
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L security clearance

The selected individual will support research and development efforts in our analytical chemistry laboratories, working on projects related to bioaerosol fate and microdroplet chemistry. Responsibilities include developing new methodologies for measuring chemical compositions, utilizing existing tools to solve complex problems, collaborating with staff and external partners, and presenting results internally and externally. - Experience working with hazardous chemicals and biological materials
- Experience with collecting or interpreting cryo-EM images
