Eligibility/Qualification

  • A PhD in Biological Sciences.
  • Experience in handling and injecting Drosophila embryos.
  • Proficiency in advanced light microscopy and analysis of large imaging datasets.
  • Strong background in core molecular biology techniques (DNA and RNA manipulation).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep accurate lab records.
  • Proven capability to analyze data independently and communicate effectively.

Description

The successful candidate will primarily analyze the behavior and function of various centriole and centrosome proteins in living Drosophila embryos using a variety of imaging and analytical techniques. The position is funded by the Wellcome Trust and emphasizes professional and career development.
