Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Required:
  • Doctoral Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Genetics, Molecular Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Research focus on gene therapy with the ability to start by January 1, 2026.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in non-viral gene delivery/therapy (siRNA, gene editing, mRNA, miRNA, antisense oligonucleotides, etc.).
  • Strong track record of first-author publications in gene therapy, particularly involving animal models of diseases.

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Associate will:

  • Conduct research experiments on developing gene therapies for kidney diseases within a predetermined research scope.
  • Collect and analyze data, perform literature searches, and leverage specialized skills to interpret findings.
  • Participate in manuscript writing for scientific journals and assist in grant applications.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and order supplies as necessary.
  • Attend scientific conferences and perform other duties as assigned.
