Postdoctoral Associate: The Research Foundation for the State University of New York at Stony Brook is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This position will support cutting-edge research in power electronics, working closely with Dr. Fang Luo.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Required: PhD degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field to be obtained by the commencement of the appointment.
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of research experience with a strong emphasis on hands-on experiments.
- Expertise in any of the following areas is advantageous:
- Power module packaging and integration
- High-density power converter design/prototyping, topology/loss analysis (including magnetic losses), thermal/EMI analysis
- EMI emission and filter design/modeling/integration, and active filtering
- Converter control/modeling, including high-speed motor drives and grid-tied converters
- High voltage engineering and converter degradation/failure analysis
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Associate will:
- Support the Principal Investigator in conducting research focused on power electronics.
- Lead/support projects involving high-density power converter and module development.
- Assist in proposal development, group outreach, and mentorship of students.
- Contribute to the development of new training courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
