Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
- Expertise in at least two areas from the specified research areas
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Prior experience with EPR and NMR spectroscopies preferred
- Previous mentoring experience is desirable
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Associate will:
- Conduct computer simulations and computational protein design
- Synthesize and characterize peptide and protein designs
- Engage in structural and functional characterization of designs
- Mentor undergraduates in scientific research projects
- Participate in scientific meetings
- Coordinate collaborative interactions among multiple investigators and institutions
- Adhere to compliance standards and university regulations
- Contribute to preparing manuscripts and grant applications
- Perform other related duties as required
